Trace Adkins is tapping a different musical tradition to celebrate the holidays this year.  The country star is prepping for the release of The King's Gift, a collection of Celtic Christmas songs.  The 10-track set features Adkins' rendition of "We Three Kings." 

Adkins will support "The King's Gift" with "The Christmas Show" tour, which he intends to make an annual event.  The theatrical shows will feature Trace telling both historical and personal stories and performing classic holiday songs backed by a 12-piece ensemble.  

The King's Gift will be in stores On October 29th.  He'll launch his 18-date tour in Effingham, Illinois on November 15th.
